Commercial projects

Hildebrand are experts in the capture, storage, analysis and playback of energy consumption data; we’re at the forefront of the UK’s smart meter based innovation within the domestic and non-domestic environments. We translate energy data into actionable information to achieve net zero goals.

Hardware and software solutions are available for metering, sub-metering and heat metering with related end-user applications, billing and pre-pay management.

Current clients include the Isle of Man, Vital Energi, Drax and Transport for London.

Funded innovation

As recognised innovators within the UK energy sector, we lead funded research funded projects where outputs are taken forward in commercial products and services. Current projects:

– FAST (Non-domestic Smart Tariff Comparison Innovation Programme)
– Glow Heat Pump Community (Heat Pump Ready Stream 2, to encourage Heat Pump adoption) – live at Glowmarkt
– SMIOTS which is to develop and take a SAPC device through CPA (Smart Meter Based Internet of Things Applications)

Projects we’ve worked on in the last five years:

– exploring the challenges faced by SMEs through the Non-domestic Smart Energy Management Innovation Competition (NDSEMIC)
– using smart meter data and our sensor to measure building performance with Build Test Solutions on the Smart Meter enabled thermal efficiency ratings technology project (SMETER)
– encouraging the adoption of Time of Use tariffs through the Smarter Tariff Smarter Comparison Project – live at Smart Tariff Smart Comparison
