Background
Energy Systems Catapult, one of Innovate UK’s technology and innovation centres, launched their Living Lab to provide a real-world test environment for trialling new clean energy innovations in 2015.
They were in need of a fully scalable and reliable data management system to effectively capture, process, and analyse half-hourly energy consumption data from thousands of connected homes.
