Glow SAPC
Standalone Auxiliary Proportional Controller
Developed out of the DESNZ funded Smart Meter System based Internet of Things applications programme (SMIOTs) project, the world's first SAPC (Standalone Auxiliary Proportional Controller) device aimed at communicating additional IOT data back through the Data Communication Company (DCC) network.
The device works as a SAPC which also generates and transmits alerts through the DCC, including data generated from other home devices, such as temperature and humidity sensors. Schedule Low Carbon Technologies to control overall energy consumption.
