Delivering Innovation in Energy Technology
As recognised innovators within the UK energy sector, we are proud to have led of a range of funded research projects. Our work focuses on addressing challenges in the energy sector and delivering solutions that make real impact. DESNZ funded projects include:
- Glow Heat Pump Ready: facilitating heat pump adoption by using energy data to support better informed decision making by consumers and installers
- Glow SAPC: world's first Standalone Auxiliary Proportional Controller enabling dialogue from grid to home to optimise consumption
- FAST network and Glow for business: streamlining organisations' and suppliers' ability to establish new time of use energy contracts and assess impact of LCT adoption
- Smart meter enabled thermal efficiency ratings (SMETER): delivered energy consumption data and our environmental sensor data into the Build Test Solutions' Smart HTC
- Smart Tariff Smart Comparison: time of use tariff comparison tool that presents consumers with options based on their actual consumption - no more estimates
- Non-domestic smart energy management innovation competition (NDSEMIC): using real-time energy data to help organisations identify and effect operational improvement and reduce costs
